Honey, don't let it eat at you-- they come back! No matter what they say, they come back. Just remember, The Best Revenge is Living Well..... Most guys, especially when they're younger, or immature, ( or haven't had a lot of responsibilities up til now) are subconsciously terrified of failing as a parent, and the first reaction to this overwhelming phenomenon is to " get out now!" and a lot of times, they don't even realize they are doing it. Once the baby starts kicking, your able to produce an ultrasound, ( or take in a recorder and get the sonogram on tape! He'll trip to hear the babies heartbeat!) then it will become real----and without meaning to, he'll start loving that baby....Remember that even if it doesn't work between the 2 of you, your both on that baby's family tree---meaning you should always try to be civil--like family. Out of respect for your child. God Bless You!

Well it takes two to tango, but im not about to blame anyone as i am not in any position to do so.So i will begin by agreeing that SOME men are such jerks. My son was happily married and a hard working father, devoted to his wife and son,and working off shore as the medic and occupational health and safety officer on an oil rig.He worked 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off,and earned around 200.000 per year. His wife wanted for nothing but she was playing around with another guy.The marriage broke and she cliams 70% of his wages for the maintanance.Doesnt that make her a JERK??

Some people are jerks. They are not ready to be parents and so they run away. Some mothers do the same thing. They have the baby and go. The sad truth is that you never should have slept with th guy even if you were married. People need to know one another a lot before they should have sex. That sounds so old fashioned but it is true. You need to find out if a person is grounded before you let him in your bed. If he is a runner, how can you blame him when he runs? You can't. Next time, be more selective in who you are with.

It's the same old question that's been around for decades! Think about way back when sex before marriage was taboo. Back then women wouldn't even consider having sex without the marriage license, well at least some anyway. The same goes today " WHY should a man make a commitment if he's already getting it without any responsibilities to himself? Why would a guy want the added responsibilities of paying for everything, home, food, clothing, etc. Why when right now he's getting it for free?
Women wake up, just because you all burned your bra back then, doesn't mean that the rules have changed where sex is concerned. lo. I for one seriously would think before handing out any freebies where MY body is concerned,
I don't mean to sound harsh to you, and it riles me somewhat that the creep did that to you. I seriously hope that you find your way through this and you will, because we women are resourceful to say the least! God Bless.

Actually, that's nature in action: it's part of the survival instinct that we still have deep in our brains; males want to have as many offspring by as many females as possible to increase their share of the gene pool. Of course, they are not consciously aware of it.
A female, on the other hand, is more concerned with rearing the children she has, and keeping the father with her helps her survival, and the infant's.
Thus far, simple anthropology.
The problem is that these philosophies conflict. Nowadays, we are lucky beyond reason that we have birth control; we also have social mores that stress the unacceptability of the male wandering off after having sired a child. You would think that that would be enough to prevent any problems.
However:
Fewer men each generation seem to think that marriage is necessary before producing children, and not enough women use reliable birth control.
The End.

Those men are in it for the physical aspect of the relationship. Everything is fine and well when you are just pregnant, but once the baby is born, they aren't just a sperm donor anymore. It takes a special man to be a father. You don't want a man who will not acknowledge or support his child.

This isn't gonna get me any points but I feel it's true.
Any female who gets pregnant these days and the guy runs off, she gets what she deserves. There are so many forms of birth control that there is absolutely no excuse for an unwanted pregnancy.
A female should never leave birth control up to the man.
We must protect ourselves. I'm the only person I can trust and you are the same.

Because some women love the "bad boy" and don't like the nice guys. They boast to their friends that their boyfriend is the bad body.
Then when the "bad boy" goes with another woman, they realize that they made a mistake. Who is the jerk, then?

afraid to take responsibilities and afraid to be a man.
These such men(boys) have to realize that once they have unprotected sex, there's a very likely chance the female becomes pregnant. And that the father must take responsibility. After all, it was also his decision to not wear a condom.
