Lebanon has a strong Christian population, as well as a good number of moderate Muslims living among them. On top of that there are more Lebanese living outside of Lebanon than in it, and most of them are Christian as well. They return to the country and so there is a westernization there more than in other middle-east countries. Combine this with a democratic government and a society that is tolerant of all religious groups and these factors make Lebanon a more open and western society. Also, the Lebanese people have been through so much in the past and they want peace, they want to live normally. Plus they love to party and have a zest for life and everything it offers. Lebanon is an amazing country with amazing people....I pray that the situation with Israel will stop and Lebanon can go about rebuilding itself once again, stronger and more beautiful than ever before.
