YES..a similar question has been asked. But I want to know WHY your favorite is your favorite. For reasons OTHER THAN:
1. he's hot
2. he's a cutie
3. he's fine
4. I love him
I'm not asking about his physical attributes....
Why is he your favorite? What has he accomplished? What kind of driver is he? How does he treat his fans? How does he interact with the other drivers? Does he work with his crew?
Does he donate to charity? How well does he drive? What are his stats? Does he give credit when it's due? Does he admit his mistakes? Tell us WHY he's your FAVORITE !

Please don't compare your FAVORITE to other drivers by
BASHING the other drivers.
JUST GIVE THE GOOD POINTS ABOUT YOUR FAVORITE AND LEAVE THE OTHER GUYS OUT OF IT.

Well my favorite driver is Tony Stewart. This has not always been the case.I've always liked Tony as a driver even when he called Talladega fans rednecks.(I live very close to track)But he's become my favorite over the last two years, since he moved back home.Since he moved home he has had a better hold on his emotions, not perfect but better.I like Tony because he is extremely talented he can drive and win in many different types of racing.Tony has won the championship in USAC triple crown series 1995-IRL rookie of the year 1996-IRL Champion 1997-Cup rookie of the year 1999-and Nextel / Winston Cup Champion 2002 and 2005.Whenever Tony is being interviewed he always uses the word ''we" instead of me and I believe he is sincere when he gives credit to his team,he must work well with them after all he has had the same crew chief since joining Joe Gibbs Racing.Tony is a big time giver to charities both his time and money I think he recently raised a million dollars for the Victory Junction Gang.I think Tony summed up his relationship with other drivers pretty well last week when he said he didn't have trouble with the drivers who tend to run up front in the better cars. But his trouble is with the younger less experienced drivers. To me Tony's driving style is a little aggressive a lot like Dale Sr was,If you bump or hit Tony you can expect to be hit in return,if you are an obviously slower car and you are holding him up he will move you,and if you are a slower lapped car holding him up he will dump you.I really dont have too much of a problem with most of the above.I have seen him admit to being at fault but like all the others I have seen him blame others when he was at fault.Sometimes I think drivers really don't know what happened until they see it on tape.Any way Tony is my favorite driver for the above reasons.

My favorite driver is Dale Earnhardt Jr. Here are some reasons why:

1) He's a good driver & races clean.
2) He seems like a really nice guy.
3) He does give to charity, which I think is very nice.
4) Some of his accomplishments are he has won two Busch championships, 21 Busch races, & 17 Nextel cup races. And I think that its only a matter of time until he wins a Nextel Cup championship.
5) Also, when he makes mistakes he admits it. He also apologizes to other drivers when he has made a mistake (ex: accidentally spinning someone out.)

That's, in a nut shell, why I like Junior.

My favorite driver is Jimmie Johnson! The guy has talent; we have seen him almost spin out at practice and save the car from hitting not one but two walls and the same during a race after he got loose and did a 360 and saved the car with little damage! He has been the points leader the majority of the last two seasons! He works great with his team (most of the time) and his crew chief! He supports the soap box derby, which he has appeared at the main one here in Akron, OH many times signing autographs for the kids and everyone! He has also raced for charities many times! He has had a problem with admiting to mistakes, but he is getting better with that! Hopefully he will win his first cup this year!

My favorite is Kasey Kahne. Here's why:

1. He's a great driver.
2. He's a sweetie and is good to his fans
3. He respects other drivers and will admit when he's made a mistake.
4. His ability to run high on the track and not tap the wall amazes me.
5. He's come back from a lousy season and won 4 races.

He's just an amazing driver and person. I really hope he's in the chase and finishes well. I really hope he wins but he's got some pretty good competition right now.

I have 2 favorites. The first is Michael Waltrip. He is a great driver. Even if he isn't in the best machine. He is totally NASCAR. He knows what he is talking about, even though so many think he is just full of hot air. He is such a giver. My second is Kenny Schrader. There is no other driver like him. He will drive anything, at anytime. He is driven to drive. Whether he wins or not, he will be back out there. Also, he's so funny. He can bring me out of a funk I'm in. That goes for Mikey too.

Kasey Kahne is my favorite driver cause he drivers not the best but he is a good driver, he doesn't get mad at other drivers if they do something to him in the race as far as i know, he has accomplished in this year his points and racing cause last year wasn't the best year for him and this year he is doing wat better in the races and points. He is in the Chase for the Cup and he wasn't last year which he accomplished that. He is a driver that is willing to do watever it takes and he is doing great in the Chase. He treats fans really good cause i know a person that met him and they treated him great. He treats women better than guys cause hes single.LOL i think he donates to Charity but I'm not 100% sure on that. That is y Kasey Kahne is my favorite driver!! So is Dale Jr.

Without a doubt..hands down..no competition..
Tony Stewart!!!
wins in sprint cars, indy cars, and of course NASCAR.. including these titles..

2005 NEXTEL Cup Champion

2002 Winston Cup Champion

1999 Rookie of the Year

1997 IRL Champion

1996 IRL Rookie of the Year

1995 USAC Triple Crown Champion (first and only thus far)

4 IROC Wins

2 NCTS Wins

well, i could go on..b/c there are so many other great mentionables..but yeah, in closing how can you argue with those kind of driving skills?? you can't. the man has got mad talent with anything with wheels. heck, he could probably beat half the field with only two wheels.
that's just talking driving..it's not even getting into all the great things he does off the track. charity work..
and then we can talk about his personality. the realness he has and the brutal honest. i love that..and i love not having a robot in the bright orange.

My favorite was always Dale Sr. Not because he won 7 championships but because he worked hard to get to the level he was at. He did a lot for local charities and underpriviliged kids. Dale donated the money to a youth group to pave a church parking lot and told them that if they told were the money came from that he would bring his bulldozer over and tear it all back up!! That was a guy with CLASS !! That is why he was and is my favorite driver in NASCAR ! I am also from NC ( Troy )

I would have to say that dale jarrett is my favorite driver. In the beginning it was because of one of the paint schemes on his car . But The more I got to know what his is about the more i liked him.
He has a foundation for breast cancer awareness and his family is almost like the petty's He ahsn't been driving to good this year but my husband says if you like a driver you should stick to it

Kasey Kahne. He can win in anything he races. He is one of the most respectful drivers in Nascar. He won rookie of the year by a hudge margin. I think he is one of the best drivers. He will not do anything stupid. Yes he admits his mistakes. He also won two races in truck in his first two starts and it won't be brocken anytime soon.
