I went to the mall today to go shopping for my school clothes. I would only buy stuff from Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle and Aeropostale. I bought $600.00 worth of stuff, and I haven't even bought my Nike Shox yet!!! Am I a snob?

I don't really know how to answer this. I don't know your personality, so I can't call you a snob. But obviously, you are very well off and priviledged. Spending 600 dollars is one thing, but only choosing clothes from the most expensive, popular stores, hints that you care way too much about what others think of you.

How about this-I can answer your question better if you answer mine: Is this your earned money or your parents? Then I can tell you whether or not you're a snob!

I wouldn't say snob but i would say a worthless person if you think clothes are going to make you better person 600.00 is WAY WAY to much to spend on school clothes or any clothes for that matter hell my wedding dress only cost me 400.00 and that was a special day for me and I dreaded spending that much for a while before I bought it. You need to check yourself do the clothes really mean anything other than saying hey look at me my MOMMY AND DADDY have money and i can get whatever I want when I want it?

That is just sorry if you ask me and YOU DID. One day you will realize that all that shoit don't mean a damn thing.

You just sound like a spoiled little brat who doesn't know the value of money. You just spent enough on your ugly clothes to feed a small country. Way to go!
BTW, if you didnt already think you were a snob, you wouldnt have asked. Have fun in high school honey cause after that you are in for a huge shock on the way things really work.

A snob is someone who thinks they are better than other people who are financially less fortunate than they are. If you fall into that catergory, then yeah, you're a snob, and you should shoot yourself. If you don't, then you just have too much money, and your parents are spoiling you rotten. Either way, if you're spending that much money on school clothes, you're up **** creek without a paddle, and you will probably be relegated to being the lonely wife of an abusive, power-hungry, golf-addicted, emotionally unstable old white guy. Happy hunting!

I worked at Abercrombie so that is all I used to wear! I don't even go for Aero and that other ****. I make more money now though so I have stepped up to REAL designer clothes. Try $600 on one outfit! Try $6,000 on one dress! yes honey you still have a lot to learn before you go bragging on the net about a measly 600 dollars. You must be like 13 or something....

No, that's not snobbishness, it's being label-conscious

This is not NECESSARILY a good thing.

Not to put you down, but look in the mirror and do a little soul-searching, and think about whether or not you might be
1-a fashion victim
2-a "sheeple"
3-lacking in imagination
4-a spendthrift.

If you think that any of the above might apply to you, then maybe you'd like to try to break out of the box just a bit. Try, maybe, thinking up your own unique style instead of trying to look like you just stepped out of a fashion spread in (whatever magazine you like). Maybe hit the thrift stores, put something funky and/or retro into the mix, or make your own accessories.

No, a snob is someone who looks down upon others. I would just say that you like over-rated clothing companies. Pick up a GQ if you are male or a Vogue if you are female and explore and find a more professional image!!!

no, i wouldn't label you a snob, a sheep maybe, seeing as how you buy into the advertising just like the rest of the herd, be original, stand out from the rest. and you don't need to spend a ton of money on clothes to get peoples respect or attention(you can do that by yourself)
