It's actually paid well and yes. Nurses starting out can make 20 - 25 dollars depending on where you go. California is so hard up I heard they will pay nurses fresh out of school $60,000 - $70,000

Yes, the pay is pretty good. But the work can be difficult... but rewarding. They do pay nurses better on the west and east coast than they do in the midwest though.

Do you want yo be an LPN or RN? Becoming an RN is where the money is at, and most hospitals will sign you on with a signing bonus. Depending on the demand area. Just look in the classifieds you will see for your self. Some hospitals are willing to give up to 5,000 just for signing up with their hospital.
