I am a driving instructor for BSM and they say the average person needs 40 hrs of instruction plus 20 hrs of private practice assuming no previous experience. I am afraid everyone is different and your natural aptitude and attitude will dictate how quickly you will learn. We have an Army driving school close to us and I am sure they train drivers and put them through the test in 2 weeks. They are training more or less full time but much of that involves observing another learner driver (they send 2 learners with one instructor). So I guess that works out at about 30 - 40 hours of actual driving.

depends how good you are with your driving i know people who after 1 lesson were put in for there test and passed if your new i would say about 12 lessons good luck

i don't know but i have had about 30 and i still don't feel ready for my test, i suppose it depends on the person and how confident they are.
