Depends on the person. The average is between 30-50 lessons but some people get away with 20 and others need closer to 80.
There is no proper average.

If you want to pass quicker then make sure you pay attention.

I am a driving instructor for BSM and they say the average person needs 40 hrs of instruction plus 20 hrs of private practice assuming no previous experience. I am afraid everyone is different and your natural aptitude and attitude will dictate how quickly you will learn. To learn how to drive a car on the road only takes about 8-10 hrs but to cope with traffic, anticipate the actions of other road users and assess situations takes most of the time. We have an Army driving school close to us and I am sure they train drivers and put them through the test in 2 weeks. They are training more or less full time but much of that involves observing another learner driver (they send 2 learners with one instructor). So I guess that works out at about 30 - 40 hours of actual driving.

It would depend on how good you are at driving. Some people need over 100 hours and others can do it in 20 hours or less.

there is not any fastened amound of hours you need to take. once you're fairly optimistic you could take your try without training (once you have surpassed your're thought try) yet i does not advise it, e book some training with an instructor and he/she will have the skill to decide for what number you opt for for. the traditional quantity of hours is 40. I took 11 hours and surpassed first time, besides the undeniable fact that i be responsive to somebody who's learning in an computerized and has long previous surpassed the 60 hours mark and nonetheless hasn't booked a try. So it varies for each guy or woman. good luck.
