Many of the so-called peace plans do not address the issue. They are a temporary fix which is not a long-term solution. If israel wanted to control the Middle East they would not have given the territories they captured during the six-day war when they kicked the others asses.

All of the peace plans overlook the one significant issue. Namely, that Hezbollah give over the two Israeli soldiers who were kidnapped.
Do you really expect there to be peace as long as Hezbollah rejects the one condition that would involve and admission on their part that they can't do whatever they want whenever they want and then scream bloody murder when Israel takes effective action to subdue them
Once again, why would Israel accept a peace that doesn't require you to stop being an idiot?

It's because they are attempting to establish change in section of the world where any hopeful chance of taking of the Jewish nation is taken. A cease fire at this time wouldn't end the war hunger from members of its neighbors. Change must be made so there is a long term peace.
