Not sure; but i do know that there are dictionaries, like an Encyclopedia collection of dictionaries that all they talk about is the origin of words. I looked word up in a Latin Dictionary, and there's no connection there. Probably derived from a Greek word.

it come from where where all the names comes
Like Chair , Table ,Car,Bus, ur name, my name etc.
