It happens maybe every other month and takes about 20 minuets to get over. I have never passed out from it. No damage.

In Anatomy and Physiology class we happened to discuss this problem, it could possibly be the result of too much pressure on the vagus nerve. It is apparently pretty common, but u may want to increase your fiber intake.

z and glory is right. But before you go, spend the rest of the day making a report that will help you to better understand your problem and make his diagnosis for a quick recovery that much easier. The cost for the report is $29. less than you'd spend on a lube for your car, but far more important.

I found a truly wonderful website for everyday health that I just know you will enjoy. When you get here, look around for something that says Sample Report. In same, as you scroll down the page, you will come across "diet" in colored letters. Click on same and look for your Blood Type at the top of the page. click on all five pages, at the top of the page in order to review the various food groups and the dos and don'ts. This part is free. Then go back and fill out the report.

You need to go to your doctor and tell him/her exactly what you've said here. You could have some nerve damage, or a tumor, and need surgery. Don't listen to the people on this web site--think about the number of years the doctor studies to become able to treat us, and think about how some of these people on this site aren't even as old as the years it took him to get his special degree. Your health is far too important to gamble with us. Get to a doctor. I found some web sites for you to read to see how many things could require doctor care:

I pasted this from the site below it:

Fainting may occur if the vagus nerve, which supplies the neck, chest, and intestine, is stimulated. When stimulated, the vagus nerve slows the heart. Such stimulation also causes nausea and cool, clammy skin. This type of fainting is called vasovagal (vasomotor) syncope. The vagus nerve is stimulated by pain (such as intestinal cramps), fear, other distress (such as that due to the sight of blood), vomiting, a large bowel movement, and urination. Fainting during or immediately after urination is called micturition syncope. Rarely, vigorous swallowing causes fainting due to stimulation of the vagus nerve.

Thank you for describing how it feels for you to "take the Browns to the Super Bowl" Just to think, I was going to count sheep to help me fall asleep, but now I can go strain a while and pass out.

Dude. I've been trying to do that for 15 years!!!! I can't believe you can do it. Can you do it at will? Or does it just happen? Can you control it? Are you lucid during it? What's it like? Tell me about the rabbits.

See a doctor. Every once in a while my prostate hurts like hell. These are the type of things you need to have checked out.

How old are you?
