I have noticed when I wake up from a night of dreaming that I am lying on my left side, my left side will be warm and my right side will be cool, has anyone else bothered to notice what side they are sleeping on when they dream?

I didn't say exclusively, just that I have noticed I am usually on my left side when I dream.

I have paid quite a bit of attention to this over the past year and know what I have observed.

just a simple question, not about theta waves or alpha waves, have you noticed a particular side you tend to sleep on when you dream, yes or no. if yes , what side? if no, ok

I don't care what other people might think - I think this is the best question I have seen so far. You do pose an interesting question. My docs told me that if I dream, I'm not getting enough of the sleep I'm supposed to be getting (not deep enough sleep), so I wonder if maybe sleeping on your left side causes you some discomfort that doesn't allow you to fall deeply asleep, therefore you dream. I'll try to keep track of which side I dream on and if I am in any kind of pain upon waking as well. Thanks for making me wonder!!

well. dreaming is something which doesnt depend on the side your sleeping on. It actually depends on the brain waves. When they come to a certain frquency then u tend to have a dream. And they also say that when u arent snoring even a little bit you are dreaming. Or in simple words you cant snore and have a dream at the same time.

I tend to wake up on my left side if I remember my dream I never really realized it until you mentioned it. I think it has something to do with that dreams when we are dreaming tend to be memories and mostly when people are trying to remember things they will look left or do things with the left side of their body.

I usually sleep on my right side. I can't stand to sleep on my back because I hate feeling my ribs popping out....

No matter what side you sleep... for maximum comfort, try the side sleeper pillow with ear holes... it helped me a lot to improve my sleep.. http://www.deluxecomfort.com/side-sleeper-pro-6.html
