I was wondering what kinda natural cures there were for acne and blemishes? thanks so much!!

This condition is most prevalent among teenagers, and the hormonal changes that take place at this age are certainly at the root of many skin problems. these changes cause the sebaceous glands to produce too much sebum, which blocks up the skin pores and makes them more likely to get infected.
A diet high in saturated fat or fried food also makes pores more likely to get blocked. Vitamin A deficiency produces skin congestion thorough over-keratinization of skin cells. Vitamin A and Zinc deficiency leads to lowered ability to fight infection, as does lack of beneficial bacteria ( through overuse of antibiotics). Optimum nutrition helps by balancing hormones as well as B complex (especially B6), C and E, zinc, niacin for skin flushing, and vitamin E for wound healing. Good diet an cleanliness are essential. Be careful of supplements with added iodine, which can make acne worse.
Diet advice:
Follow an optimum diet and drink plenty of water. Sulphur-rich foods such as eggs, onions, and garlic are also helpful. Avoid sugar, cigarettes, fried, and high fat foods. eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables (high water content foods)

Antioxidant complex: A, C, E
2x Vitamin C 500 Mg
Vitamin B6 50 Mg
Zinc 15 Mg
Vitamin E 400 IUs (helps heal the skin)

Proactiv totally doesn't work. What really works is that thing, Youthful essence. It got rid of my acne and made my pores invisible. It's totally worth $40 for the trial. Anyway, a NATURAL cure for acne is lemons. Wash your face with REAL lemons, not lemon juice, every morning and every night, that should take care of your acne. Just remember to keep your skin moisturized. And yeah, sex works good too. It makes your skin glow ^.^

While it took little less than two months for me to really see a difference, my acne, blackheads and whole lot of other skin problems I had such as eczema had completely cleared! It was totally amazing...

soap helps, but medicine from a dermatologist is better. the first answerer got it right. the second two are making up cures. the people selling these things know people like them are gullible.

aloe leave juice. get an aloe pant and break of the leaf and the clear juice that comes out will clear you up in no time. native americans used it for healing. i have used it for years for all kind of skin problems icluding healing a scar after my c-sec.

Dandelion tea! That will help clear your system out of any toxins. Also lemon balm topically.
