Can anyone explain to me how George W. Bush went from pursuing Osama Bin Laden for 9/11 to invading Iraq to go after Hussein?

They really are two totally unrelated events (sort of). The media, and a lot of people would have you believe that Iraq was invaded because of 9/11, but that's not the case. Saddam was put in power by the US government as a means to help control the area (Iran and Syria). Saddam turned into a really bad dictator and started getting cozy with Iran. Long story short.

President Bush invaded Iraq based on information that it was still developing weopens of mass destruction in violation of United Nations santions. The information provided to him about these weopens were given to him by the United States, France, Russia, Germany, Great Britain, and other Western Governments. Based on this information, And fearing Sadam's hatred for the USA and readieness to use such weopens as he had prior to both Iran and his own Kurdish people. President Bush Took the necessary action needed to secure the nation from a percieved threat. In retro spect the information provided has proven to be less than adiquite. But hind sight is always 20/20. They responsibility of protecting a nation is not a lightly taken endevor. And for those who wish to use hind sight or be arm chair presidents remember this. oh heck might as well since we are looking for bad people, lets go and rescue all those people from a mad man. Now that hes gone they are wishing he was back and our government is wishing they had never gone there. Remember they thought those people would come out and wave American flags when our troops came into town, instead they spit and shot at us, and now we are bogged down and we want get out no time soon. Its coming folks all hell is gonna break loose soon in the middle east. Hang on and enjoy the 5$ a gal and the price rise of all the goods we need. What i suggest is learn how to live on the land. here it is 3 years later and people are JUST NOW asking that question...

After all the air traffic was halted on 9-11, ONE plane was allowed to fly out of the country.
It was chartered by the Whitehouse and its passengers were the Bin Laden Family, whisking them off with their billions of dollars to their homeland.

When something bad happens you create a plan to protect yourself. First you go after and eliminate those who attacked you (the US can do this so no reason to run and hide), then you start to eliminate the other potential threats (the Axis of Evil as he called them). The idea of sitting around waiting for bad people to do bad things is reactive and ignorant because it's just that reactiveness that makes you vulnerable and weak in their eyes. Bush did the right thing and he continues to do the right things by showing resolve and strength. If they fear us then they will think twice about doing anything else. We can't make these people love us, we can only make them afraid and it's the sad reality.

The plan to go after Hussein was conceived even before 9/11. Bush and his administration was looking for ways to go after Hussein ever since they got in.

Well the purpose for 9-11 was basically to steal gold( worth millions of dollars) located at the base of one of the towers...they needed to cover up this incident as "Terrorism". so a fake video of Osama came up saying that he was responsible for 9-11.

The other idea was to get their hand on the Oil...so after the fake video, they needed to send troops to look for Terrorist.....this was another cover up to squeeze oil from the middle east... since these where their TWO main goals (get the GOLD and the OIL) there's nothing else to do but just wait patiently, until they came up if another of their great inhuman ideas.

well,,,, lets see,,, iraq was hiding the weapons for osama, iran saw this and wanted osamas weapons but iraq said no, then syria said to iraq give iran the weapons or else, and then lebanon was hiding the soldiers but the north koreans did not speak any english so the pakistanis came to tora bora but it was too late, while all of this was happening china sold all the goods to the rest of the world but this pissed off americans, because nobody told anything to israel so they started to bomb lebanon, now we have to clean it all...
