How Do You Maintain A House Clean?

Im going to mexico tommorow. im going to hire a cleaning maid to clean my house. What are some things i should go over with my house maid. Things like cleaning the house, watering the garden, Taking care of the Dog, ETC. Make a list of things that could maintain my house as if i was their all along. Thanks and top answer is 10 ptz

How long are you going for? I'll assume a week...
~feed the dog every day 2x plus clean his dish and give him fresh water
~let the dog go in the yard while cleaning
~sweep the floors every three days (every day is better)
~mop the floor the day before you come home (2x a week is good)
~water the plants as directed (mist orchids,water plants once a day or water weekly..etc)
~vaccuum every three days
~dust the day before your return
~wash and fold (put away) laundry
~do the dishes after you leave
~air out the house before you come home

I'm a clean-freak, so I could probably sit here till next week suggesting stuff. I also have someone helping me out once in a while, and believe me, you better go over everything in detail before you leave to make sure the job she does is to your liking!
