First of all Palestine is not a state because it never was one. At the time of the 1967 war when Syria, Jordan and Egypt attacked Israel; the Golan Heights was part of Syria, The West Bank was part of Jordan, and Gaza and the Sinai were part of Egypt. After 6 days Israel had captured the Golan Heights, the West Bank, The Sinai, and Gaza.

The 3 Arab countries had enough and asked for a cease fire. Israel accepted the cease fire but would not agree to a peace treaty with any of the 3 countries because none of them would admit the right of Israel to exist as a country.

Israel continues to occupy the Golan heights and the West Bank because these areas were part of Syria and Jordan. The whole Idea of a "Palestinian State" here is ridiculous!! The Arabs are just trying to get back by lies and propaganda, what they lost militarily.

Anwar Sadat, courageously signed a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, admitting the right of Israel to exist. In the treaty, Israel returned the Sinai and Egypt gave Gaza to Israel.

I can't believe how stupid the people of the world have been to believe lie upon lie, upon lie of the Arabs. Israel has been pressured by Europe and the USA to give up territory it had won to a "people" who never occupied that land ever before!

By the way, I'm not Jewish. I'm just sick to death of the lies by the Arab countries and the Liberal World Media!

World War II.
Some Jewish activist created a movement called "Zionism" that, in many other things, was about finding or recovering a homeland. They decided to recover Israel after almost 2 thousand years with little Jewish population there. The place was called Palestine.

In short, after a lot of Jewish immigration (although not that much), creating organizations, buying some land, and a lot of presion from prominent Jewish leaders all around the world, the British (who had control over Palestine at that time), made the United Nations to solve the problem, since Jews and Arabs where fighting (consider that Jews where gaining incredible power, making only Jews organization, simple Zionist stuff).

As they were the king Solomon the UN decided to split Palestine into and Arab and Jewish State (Israel). Since that was enough for the Zionist leader, they accepted, since the Arabs lost a lot of land by a resolution, they did not accept it.

That´s why there is no government, because they don´t want a Jewish state, to have a little bit of land, they need to accept to lost a lot.
Although the "Palestine" from 1948 is not the same today.
Is a really interest topic, it gives you an idea why "terrorist" "kidnap" soldiers.

Note: You can change terrorist for insurgent , if you don´t accept the NeoCon version that this people are fighting for no valid historical reason
