If it was proven that Rush Limbaugh has a chronic pain problem, would you be so quick to jump on the bandwagon against him. I have a family member with acute porphyria(look it up), which causes chronic pain, and she takes oxycotton. Oxycotton is a slow release opiut that controls pain over a long time. It is very addictive, but for some, it is the only thing to control the pain. I'm not saying he has porphyria, but maybe he doesn't want expose his medical history to the public. Would you? Then again, he might have a real pill problem. Who really knows.

I just find it sad that some people seem to give a Kennedy as pass, but pile on when it is a conservative. By the way, I do feel that Rush is a somewhat hypocrite.

I haven't like Rush for many years. This has nothing to do with his prescription meds troubles, but his politics, his misogyny, his hypocrisy, and his ability to wave blatant untruths around as though they were somehow gospel, hoping no one will check. Many of his listeners apparently don't.

He is still just a stooge in the propaganda machine even if he is a poor mentally defective junky, and if I remember it was not just Oxycodone(hillbilly heroin)that he was abusing

edit: The Kennedys got their share of abuse back when they mattered, nobody has taken and put a bullet into Rush yet!

If he did have a chronic pain problem doctors would prescribe the medicine to him. ( I used to work in a pain clinic I know). I think he was hitting up on vicondin as well as oxycodone.

Its likely he burned up his hearing using these pills that to me says hes been using for sometime.

You know what, he has blasted drug addicts for years and it turns out he is one. He is a hypocritee, so no I don't feel sorry for him.

If he hadn't been a hypocrit I think people may be more sympathetic, but he brought on the hate himself.
