Well imagine him as a teenager. I'm 14 and the name Von Samuel SCREAMS "OH MY GOD Freak-y Don't get near me!" imagining a teenage boy named Von Samuel makes me think freakishly tall, long pointy nose Hands held out like a rabbit and freaky vampire teeth

You're trying too hard. If you have to ask then it's a no...Just go with Samuel and leave the Von out of it, unless it's a family name.

Please delete the Von... if you insist on having it, add it as a middle name. Now, if you said Vaughn Samuel....maybe I would have supported that idea. Von is not so cool nowadays... it sounds like a classic pianist of centuries past.

I will say it is unique , but your kid will wind up just being called von or vonnie and that sounds too feminine. Will suffer to much teasing in school and perhaps get a complex from it.
