We all know that Hizbollah is an ISLAMIST group which doen't really have anything to do with the Lebanese Christians...So is that a war against Christians and Muslims???

Thank you!!! For all of you right-wing Christians out there, who are supporting Israel in this war, about 40% of Lebanon population is Christian. So, do you really approve of Israel killing Christians in the Middle East?
Killing civilians of any religion, especially children and attacking UN premises for me it's act of terrorism. If UN building in New York would be bombarded, how would US look upon that? So how come when UN building in Lebanon is bombshelled (after more than twenty warnings from UN forces to Israel), that's not a big deal?!

Hezbollah is a militia by other words. Lebanon doesn't have any sort of real army which will defend the country and no one will stand up for Lebanon, take a look at UN/Nato they have peacekeepers present in the country with weapons who can't work as an army!

All areas of Lebanon are under attack, Christian, Muslim doesn't matter. Israel would only stop if they where killing there own in Lebanon, but sometimes I wonder would that even make Israel stop all of its aggression?

There is a war against Chrstians and Muslims. Muslims and Arabs. Muslims and Jews. Arabs and Israelis, and everything in between.

Israel is in the wrong though they are killing too many civilians who have no right to die. The current ratio is one Israeli to about twelve (12) Lebanese that is just a genocide of Lebanese.

But Israel doesn't care, as they have rabbis saying "A million arab finger nails isn't equal to one Jew." [New York Times, 1994]

Israel amply shows this with there tactics for killing Arabs in both Gaza, Palestine and Lebanon.

Arabs are of both Muslim and Christian. Israel is at war with Arabs.

They are attacking points which harbor Hezbollah, have been used to launch attacks, are used to store weapons, etc. Not just people.
It's war, and the Hezbollah, are attempting to blend into the population, to use civilians as shields. Hezbollah knows all is lost, and are begging for a cease fire. The U.N. is trying to force Israel to open up additional holes in the front lines to allow "civilians" out of the war zone. Israel, fortunately, is not going to allow them a chance to resupply, rearm, and reinforce their positions. They have allowed Red Cross and Red Crescent operations, and are maintaining security to prevent the terrorists from escaping. It's time people start realizing that war sometimes has collateral damage, it is not sterile.

There is no such thing as partial war. WAR IS TOTAL WAR. People, innocent people, are going to die. Hezbollah is hiding in places where the Christians live and where the U.N. monitoring stations are, using them as human shield. The Nazi's stayed in Italy's most historic treasures during WW2 thinking America would spare them. It didn't. We burned those priceless historical treasures to the ground, because we understood that without victory there is no peace an victory can only be achieved unconditionally. Victory must occur without restraints or else there can be no victory.

,September 11, 2001. President Bush did not create the destruction of the Twin Towers, nor did he create Osama bin Laden, Hezbollah, or Hamas. The attacks on the United States by Jihadists had been going on for decades before he was elected. In 1983, Hezbollah killed 243 U.S. Marines in Beirut to cite just one instance. In 1979, Iran took U.S. diplomats hostage for 444 days.

I'm guessing they just want to hit Israel, nevermind who gets hit. It's just that their range on their rockets only allows them to hit certain parts of northern Israel, which I guess just happens to be a christian area.

I bet if they hit a Muslim area though, like the Dome on the Rock, they'd probably try to pin it on Israel, and say that Israel did that, and are trying to blame Hezbollah.

And don't get me wrong, they'd just as likely kill other Muslims if they could, so long as it's another sect from their own, such as a sunni killing a shia and vice versa.

for anyone saying that war is war, there will be collateral damage, suck it up, sit and take it...etc. well:

how would you feel if you were home and your young daughter or son was on their way home and got blown to pieces by an israeli bomb. oh, sorry, i forgot. that's only israel defending itself. wake up people. stop believing the bull. a life is equal to any other life. the numbers of lebanese dead are highly disproportionate to israeli.

stop making excuses for israel.

Bombs aren't smart enough to just pick out the bad guys. And, face it -- any time you live next door to militant terrorists, trouble is bound to happen. Location, location, location.
