The dryer your face is, the more oil it produces to keep your skin moisturised. If you overdry it plus wash with soap which is drying, and if you have active oil glands, chances are you are just gonna make your face oily. Also, be sure to apply that benzoyl peroxide cream on your face everytime after you wash it.
If you wanna pop your pimple, try using a normal needle, probably a sewing needle, watch it clean, and pop the tip of your pimple. dont over poke it.
After poking it, use two tissues, one on each hand and use both fingertips on both hands to squeeze out all the pus in the ready-to-squeeze pimple till it runs out. Until blood comes out, that is when you know the pus in the pimple has all come out.
If you want to reduce redness, try to use icecubes and wrap them over a towel, and dap them on your face for about 1 hour or so. It will reduce the redness. Also get a goodnight's rest.

I used to have really really bad acne problems... here is what I know:
Stop washing with soap so much! When you over wash your face with soap, your skin thinks that it is dry and starts producing more and more oil, leading to more breakouts. First, get a good cleanser that is made for your type of skin. Then choose a moisterizer, this will give your skin the drink that it needs! It is going to help your skin stop producing so much oil and cut down on those breakouts.
Second, hands off! I know that you will want to poke and push at those things. But using your fingers is going to lead to bacteria on your face. When a pimple is ready to be popped it will be white on the end, go ahead and pop it then with tissues around your fingers to keep the bacteria away. When it starts to bleed.... STOP... you have gone too far! Then more that you pop your pimples, the longer they are going to last.
I would recommend Velocity cleanser and moisterizer from Mary Kay. Mary Kay products are the only ones that helped my skin clear up. They also have a great acne treatment gel. If you start using these products give them a good week, at first they are going to draw all the impurities out of your skin, which may make it seem like you are breaking out more. But, after that you will notice a HUGE difference. Good Luck!
