the reason I am asking this question on the internet is that I live on an island in Alaska. Medical attention has to come to me, and unless its a life threatening emergancy, I must pay for the service myself. That is 1000,00. So, for your information I am very concerned for my child. He didn't hit his head today, just had physical, and blood sugar was great. It gone on for a couple of hours, but he is in great spirits, has a good appetite. And has been drinking water most of the day. Thank you to those had offered up real answer.

No what ever you do don't panic. Just call the local hospital for the ask a nurse she'll tell you what to do.

I don't know about panicking, but a trip to the ER won't hurt. It almost sounds to me like low blood sugar, but there's many other things that could be causing it. It's better to be safe than sorry and have a doc check him/her out.

what it sounds like to me is that your child is about to faint. ask her if her vision is getting narrow like a tunnel and if things are getting dimmer. either that or she is having what is called a presyncope, or a near fainting. just wacth your child closely. if she faints do whatever you can to wake her up. get a cold rag a put it on there forhead. and just make her get up slowely after.
