You can try ordering it off of a store's website, like bestbuy.com or Walmart.com, i'm sure you get the point. Good luck!

I have some bad news for you. I asked the local Civic Video store if they had a copy of Disney's Little Mermaid, they didn't because Disney apparantly only re-release their movies every 7 years. That's why we often see an older movie like Pinochio come out as a special edition. So becuase of that, I doubt you will be able to get it an any shops near you. And if you try ebay, you would probably have to pay a lot for it.
However, I just did a browse on www.amazon.com and they do have some copies available there. Just watch out for the region code, as some dvds cannot play dvds from different countries because of their coding.

There are plenty on eBay. I found over 300 there. A few as low as 77 cents. What difference does it make how old you are if you have a email account then you can set up an eBay account and purchase items using money orders or cash or whatever means that you might have to buy the item. Just read everything carefully and make sure that it is an auction that accepts other means of payment. Hope this helps

Amazon.com
I wouldn't bother with eBay anyway if you need it like now. It would likely take too long to get to you. Have someone old enough get it for you from Amazon.com. Check out their new and used section on it's page, you may be able to find a new copy for cheaper.
Edit: Here are links to Amazon's "New and Used" sections. The DVD is almost $30 new (Yikes!), but a new copy in this section is a *little* cheaper

And VHS much cheaper (though keep in mind though that the tapes are like 10 years old. If she might not notice, "like new" used once DVD might be the best bet.)

Buy it from an online store. Not necessarily ebay, but try stuff like Best Buy and Circuit City.

They have it on a website called Deep Discount DVDs, here's a link --
http://search.deepdiscountdvd.com/search?p=Q&ts=custom&w=Pocahontas&search.x=56&search.y=7
And this is horrible, but you could rent it from Blockbuster, not return it, and pay for it as lost or damaged.
