As I am in Bangkok many people don't know what "frequency spectrum" is even they watch television and use mobile phone everyday. Economically, I think it doesn't give out energy directly as gas oil or wind but it is the fundamental source of vast business activities in human life. If it is legally well-accepted as a kind of natural resources , we may have wider perspective in preserving wealth which is hand down to us from nature.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is. I accept the spectrum as a natural resource, yes.

Spectrum is a natural resource, very much like land. If you build a house on a parcel of land, you can't build another one on the same parcel. Same with frequencies; if you allocate a band to cell phone use, you can't use it for television transmissions.

spectrum is owned/auctioned by governments, it is a way of generating revenue from private enterprise by making them pay to use certain frequencies and making it illegal for others to use the same frequency. I agree it is like the 'oil fields' or 'gold fields' for our generation and a lot of money is being made
