I am a strong conservative and believe in the sanctity of life. However in the case of rape or incest I feel abortion is justified and should be allowed if done in a timely manner.

Abortion should be allowed as a basic right for any woman...

While rape and incest are obvious, consider

- A woman gets pregnant by mistake but is not confident that she will be able to bring up the child.

- The woman above has a deadly disease and doesn't hope to live long.

- Poverty in poor countries is a grave problem. Rather abort than suffer for life.

I can understand why the answer might be yes however it is just a hard case to prove and by the time the crime is proven the baby is at a gestation where it would be just to late. I hate to think that women would take advantage of this type of Law but we all know that they would. It is a hard decision but ultimately the baby did no wrong and no matter what, unfortunately and painfully, the mother suffers no matter what she "chooses".

YES!! And abortion already is legal in most if not all states and you do not have to be a victim of rape or incest to have it.

No, the child should not be sentenced to death for the crime of her father. She is innocent and does not deserve to die in such a horrific manner. Furthermore, abortion only increases the trauma and grief of a woman who has been raped and potentially also allows a molester to continue his crimes undetected. For more on this issue, see:

Only if it is allowed for other reasons also. You cannot be Pro-Life and say it's okay in certain situations. Allowing it for rape and incest mean you are Pro-Choice.

It is still a human life regardless of how it was concieved.

I'd say definately yes. But then I approve of abortion. I can see nothing worse than having an innocent child being bought up in a situation where it's not wanted. A child should have a safe, loving, welcome environment, and orphanages and moving from foster home to foster home does not provide that.

In some states it is allowed for rape and incest.

That's probably the only case where it should be even considered. However with prompt reporting, medication can be taken to prevent pregnancy after the fact (the so-called "morning after pill") and that ought to be the first line of defense.

YES............I feel that it should be the mothers choice no matter what as long as she is not using it as a birth control like so many women do. If she has been raped....then hell yes she should have the right to terminate it.

Oh and love your picture....it's wicked
