That's so cute. My son does the same thing. Sometimes you need to put things off limit though, instead of spending the money to get him "his own". Anything that we use, our son likes to play with, so for a while, we tried to get him his own kids version: the phone, the remote, even the sony playstation controller.. eventually he figured out that it wasn't the real thing and gave up on his to play with ours again. Since most of the laptops are meant as teaching tools, check the recommended age on it before buying it. If it's not geared to his age group, then it may not be worth spending the money on until he can actually use it the way it should be used. You may just be better off teaching him that that is one thing he is not alowed to touch, having boudaries can be a good thing too, so that he can start to understand the difference between appropriate and inappropriate.

i would look at garage sales for used computer parts and hook him up down load him a few things to interact with set it up near you and show him how it works he'll love it...and if its cheap enough he can hurt it too much and he will learn new things you would be suprsied kids are like sponges and the quicker he learns the keys and the sounds they make the better off he will be in school

Don't waste your money. I have one of those toy ones for my son and he is around the same age and he is smart enough to know the difference and it is just sitting collecting dust. I got a new keyboard for my computer and gave my son my old one and he loves that.

Get him a Leap Frog activity table. This works wonders and will keep him away from your laptop.
It plays music and has sounds and lights and teaches him ABC's and different things its great.

He under no circumstances spanked me back - it wasn't somewhat needed. i develop into wise adequate to appreciate what I did and take punishment for it - without it having to be a spanking. Time-out works in case you artwork it...Grounding works in case you artwork it. i imagine you need to video reveal Supernanny to verify what moms and dads go by to get their youthful little ones to do time-out once they have been allowed to run wild without it. It takes a sturdy week and distinctive skill from the moms and dads to make it artwork. The very last educate I watched develop into moms and dads that spanked who now had a brood of little ones that beat one yet another up and couldn't be managed. They labored on the day out and it labored...the little ones finally took to it and stopped hitting one yet another. yet another element...in case you do not choose your baby touching something - positioned it up, positioned it away!

It may be appropriate, seeing how computers are as common as television sets. The earlier he can use one, the better.
