effects of x-rated films to teen agers

Watching too many pornos (especially when you're inexperienced in sex) tends to make people worse at sex.
I mean, really, I don't think alot of women would appreciate having their butt slapped or being smacked in the head with a guy's penis.

How many teenagers buy X-Rated films?
First I have to ask this, when American kids were all growing up on the farms and they all watched the animals mate, did that have bad effects on them?
When they then saw all the animals being killed and butchered, did that emotionally scar them?
People have forgotten where we came from and now seem to think that LIFE is bad.
The way things were 100 years ago was life. But, no one had these problems back then either...
Think about it.

Way over rated. Most of the teens I know are more x-rated than most of the films on the market. It's their PARENTS that are seriously affected by porn. -I think it's because they were brought up on Disney movies & freak out at the sight of anything "suggestive". Somebody should DO something about those Disney movies...-they're a corrupting influence.

I don't believe x-rated films have any affect on teenagers. It has been proven that there are people who are more prone to violence than others and therefore films cannot be blamed for their violence. Normal teenagers can view the material and not have any long lasting effects.

It leads to desensitization and a need for more and more outrageous scenes to achieve the same results. On a more everyday level, it leads to false ideas about what sex actually is, what women like and don't like and it takes the notion of love completely out of the sexual equation. Sex is given easily and frequently in such movies and things like marriage and steady relationships usually don't matter at all in the equation.

Im sure if does effect a teenagers perception on sex! It does not help when the media promotes pornstars and makes them very popular by giving them roles in movies and Tv shows.

There are reasons that it is not legal for teens to pruchase or rent x-rated films.

I think that it desensitizes them to real everyday sex. They get the idea that every guy has a huge dick and all girls have huge boobs and always wanna have sex. It cheapens sex for them, becuase they can jsut watch it any time, and yeah that's what I thnk :)

Effects both ways equally good & bad. i.e. they get sex education - A good sign. They may start implement/experiment, get involved - A bad sign.

It will make them wonder how sex is about, how to do it and it will make them want to try out sex. It this case, it will causes abortion, unwanted child and etc.
