I have to be honest, I saw this movie for the first time ever tonight and its definitely going to be one of my favorites now. What did ya'll think about it?
I've come to the realization that if a movie has Johnny Depp in it, then its going to be great.

Honey, I'm 50 years old, and I agree that any movie that Johnny Depp is in, then it's worth watching. Not only is he a good looking man, he's a very versatile actor, as well.

I own every Depp movie, and I especially love "Gilbert Grape."

I think I've worn out my old VHS copy of it that I should get it on DVD. This is the movie that I liked him most in as a kid ... er, teenager. No, he can be in crappy movies too ... The Astronauts Wife is a terrible movie. But he always delivers, even if the overall film isn't good.

And, then to see if you are right watch:

and think what if River Phoenix were still around?

i love that movie. Johnny Depp is such a great actor. Every movie he has been in is great.

My mom & I heart this movie. We love when leonardo dicaprio says "It's my party though!" Haha, after seeing the movie for the first time and seeing "Juliette Lewis" wear a hat throughout half the movie, We've called her "Hathead" ever since. lol.

oh yeah, that's one of my favorite movies! the book is good, too, and was written first. i love how crazy all the people are, but it's actually kind of plausible if you think about how most families are. and any movie with a big fire as the climax is totally worth watching.

I like that one, too. As far as Depp goes I prefer Henry and Joon. I hated Cry Baby, though.
