I WENT IN FOR A WHEEL ALIGNMENT AND ENDED UP COSTING 100 DOLLARS MORE FOR THE REPAIR PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED. IT HAD TO BE DONE, I WOULD JUST LIKE TO KNOW WHAT PART OF THE SUSPENSION ARE THESE PARTS LOCATED ON?

If you have a front wheel drive vehicle with struts, sometimes in order to change the camber or caster, the mounting holes for the struts have to be "punched" out in order to change the alignment angle. The mounting holes will need to be elongated to allow for adjustment because no adjustment room is manufactured into the frame at the factory. This also applies to front suspensions that have upper control arms, in order to move the A arm forward or backward a metal plug must be "punched" out to move it. The parts you are asking about are either on the top of the strut mount, or the inner end of the upper control arm on a coil spring/control arm setup.
