I would pay up to 1300... maybe 1500, but I would want to have 2 bathrooms...
I pay 800 for a 2bd with a den and 1 and 1/2 bath. It's a loft. The 2bds and and den are on the main level. The loft hold an extra area... I have a sorta 2nd den. Its in a decent area, no real crime or anything... it's just not a fancy area... thats all. It's an apartment/condo... I rent but some people there own their apartment.

3 bedroom 2-1/2 bath 1400 sf townhouse in Chicago Burbs - $1200 - Nice subdivision, all townhouses are less than 3 years old
2 bedroom 2 bath 1125 sf apartment same Chicagoland area - $1200 and going up every year- large apartment complex with workout facilities, tennis courts, pool, on a crappy golf course - not as nice an area
