What will happen to the ipod if i delete songs in my pc?

i delete songs in computer only, but not itune...so will the songs in my ipod will gone too, if i update the ipod?

i mean that it ok to have error in itune because i dun want the songs take away the space in computer. i just care that songs in my ipod will gone too

from my experience .. there will be errors on iTunes ...
