I just took a shower and noticed under my foot there near my heel that there is a small mark, then on the right side of my right foot there is a purpleish area. It just showed up today and I think it might be the new boots i bought, they are a slight bit tight, but could it cause this kind of reaction? The marks are purple and I have had my boots off for sometime before i took a shower. Please someone tell me what this is. It does not feel like a bite, it does not hurt or itch, it is just there.

If it doesn't hurt or itch I wouldn't worry about it, it will probably be gone in a day or two.

sounds like a bruise if it is purple
