That's way too cool. But I will still keep my colony of cutie kittens. :-)

It is not the litter that is dangerous to the pregnant woman, it is the feces that carries the germs. Wearing gloves and a mask will keep the woman from getting sick. This has been commone knowledge for years.

It is the feces, not the litter, that harms you. Bacteria can hurt your child.
Good logical reason not to change litter box for many months!

LMAO, it's not the cat litter, it's the cat feces that are not good for pregnant women. Cat's in general are not good to have around when you are preggie or around the baby.

Yes, but it takes 24 hours after the feces has been expelled for the toxoplasmosis to become harmful. My cat pees in the toilet but often shits on the floor. I just sweep it up with a special dust pan and broom as soon as he does it and dump it in the toilet, so I'm not too worried.
You can also get toxoplasmosis from handling raw meat and from digging in your garden.

yep. We had to get rid of the cat when my mom got pregnant. It has something to do with the toxins in the cat urine/feces.
