I'm really getting fed up with the price of gasoline. I'd really like to know what's going to be done to bring back (much) lower prices at the pump.

price is a function of supply and demand. if you want to bring back lower gas prices then you need to bring back all the gas that's already been burnt up in people's cars so we have enough gas again that prices can come down. the best way would probably be to invent a time machine, then go back in time and convince the people back then to use less gas, because it's too expensive now

I believe it is all political now. Gas companys are making record profits, there are no oil shortages, and prices did drop per barrel, but the price at the pump went back up. My guess is once Bush is out of office, or almost out, you will finally start to see a little relief at the pump.

As long as we keep upping demand and, putting up with it. There are millions of reasons people just ignore the prices. If you ask for a solution you get answers like,,, Its worse in other countries so shut up and deal with it. You pay more for a gallon of Pepsi or coke. What are you going to do walk? Does anyone care that the only place in this country that's profiting from these prices is Bush's home town? They are buying those gas guzzling caddy SUV"s ( don't yell me about saying that I own one and a gas guzzling truck as well) so fast they can't keep them in stock. Oh well I guess we just have to pay the price

gas prices are high do the the imperialistic gas owners. the gas leader in the USA is Exxon mobil. if people keep buying gas from this company then the prices are gonna stay up.
when u buy gas do a research on the company history.
try to purchase gas from any other company.
prices shouldnt be that high.
i know that the middle east conflict has a lot to do with the prices but we also import from latin american countries and we have a high reserve. so why does prices are still high?
remember that our dear and beloved president has some special personal interest in keeping prices high.
he and his family and closest friends have shares in exxon mobil.

George W. Bush

He makes a lot of money off high gas prices.

It's still expensive because no matter how high it goes, demand will still increase.
