Everyone always seems to make a big deal when a celebrity comes out of the closet. I think they think it makes for a good headline. Like Lance Bass was some kind of shocking news.

i think that it is because being gay is still not acceptable to most people and when anyone first comes out, there is always a time of rumors and talk, but that eventually goes away.
