theres reasons ppl will make fun of u.
Maybe they are juz jealous or just love fooling around and make u feel bad. Y bother?
Are you a starter in makeup?
If so ....start off light makeup. Looks that looks neutral with some colours. And learn to enchance the features that you have. That is what makeup all about.
Do give more additional details of your features...skin tones...colour of your hair....
