No, they gained power for massacring Israelis and for being able to fend for themselves for so long.
And yes they are gaining popularity after the Israel - Lebanon conflict in the rest of the world and the Middle East. And yes they are funded by Syria and Iran, and in some cases used as a proxy front to carry out Iran or Syrias dirty work or to make a statement to tell the USA to back off of Iran.
Fsck Israel.
Fsck US Foreign Policy.
I'd rather be down with Hezbollah.

Well, let's see. Hezbollah has been gaining power since its inception over thirty years ago. I don't think George Bush was in politics then. Now he has been president for 6 years, and Hezbollah has been fully entrenched in Lebenon since before that. Unless he had something to do with it when he was Governor of Texas, I don't think he had much to do with their power.

In one word, YES. We're fighting the hydra, and the more people we kill over there, the bigger it gets. Imagine that you're a Middle Easterner living in Lebanon. Just an average guy, working in a grocery store, with no real desire to join Hezbollah. Then, your entire family is killed in an instant by an Israeli missile (paid for by US money). Imagine that. Hezbollah might be awfully tempting to you, don't you think? The same applies for the Iraqis, and their 'insurgency'.

Hezbollah is supposedly a 17 November team, maximum residing in Lebanon, which helps this team. Hezbollah is in contact in politics, yet in addition many crimes. the U. S. needs them to disarm, yet they gained't because of fact their objective is to wreck Israel-made from Jews. they do in comparison to Jews and in the event that they disarm they of course won't manage to fulfill their objective.

You could make an argument for it. Terrorism is based, not off of firepower, but more off of idealism and extremism. Give terrorists a reason and they'll run with it.
Then again, that's only an argument you could make in favour. There are, as you can see, many arguments against it.

No. They gained power because Iran supports them. This war with Israel was designed to divert our attention from their nuclear program.
