Well, honesty is the best policy....But how long have you been dating? Have there been outside stressors that might be affecting what is going on between you two? Are YOU trying hard enough to keep things going? Relationships aren't always able to float along. Love...and deep like too.....is not easy. It's hard work, in fact!

Do you really like her? I would venture to say not, if you're willing to break it off. How long have you been dating.

I have been with my life partner....my wife...for almost 8 years. When we met, we had so many outside influences that tried to keep us apart. One of our friends kept telling me there was no way she was a lesbian, and telling her that she was just confused and didn't want to be with a woman. (he was a jealous type) There were a lot of other things going on. Everyone said we wouldn't make it and weren't compatible. But here we are.

Sometimes I think people give up to easily. I agree that if there is no spark whatsoever, then you should let her go so that you can both find the right person. But if there is still something there, why not try and fight for it? You'll never know what you might be missing if you don't give it your all.

Honestly? I would just be honest. =)

People may not always appreciate the truth _in the moment_, but they usually do later on. At least she'll know that you respect her enough to just be up front with her and not feed her some story or lie to her about it.

Also, she may re-think her approach. How can anyone change if nobody ever tells them what they're doing wrong?

Be honest with her. Just tell her that you think it would be better if you two could just be friends. Tell her she deserves someone who will want to be with her and love her.
