all of which are are big turn offs for a man. Basically, its not the weight but the negativity that weight brings in a woman that makes a man dislike overweight chicks . What do you people think?

Oh Lordy, do I hate questions that begin with 'No Offense.' You always know that what's coming will be, without a doubt, offensive. And you didn't let me down.

Not so much by what you said, but that you actually believe it. That you want to lump everyone into generalized categories, and then spread that nonsense to everyone who will listen.

Darlin, fat women are no less positive than thin women, or white women, or black women, or gay women, or tall women... etc. Granted, a woman MIGHT be overweight because she's having low self-esteem issues - but where on Earth do you get the idea jealousy and such automatically run hand in hand with that? Those character traits - good or bad - are just as prevalent in people that don't have weight problems.

People are people. Everyone has their own negatives and their own positives, and their own separate reactions or ways of dealing with both.

Please make an effort to not generalize. I only mention that because I see it as a big problem in the world right now, and it concerns me.

If you want a positive happy woman, no matter what size she is, concentrate on being a positive happy man - you'll be amazed at how much more attractive you'll be to what you're looking for.

If men weren't so quick to run off with other women, tell women how they need to change while being farther from perfect than the woman, and if men didn't think they ruled the world...

... the problems of Jealousy, clingy, and rude would be gone.

Low self-esteem is because they've been left so many times for a skinnier girl, and eat more when they're depressed.

:(

No its the weight. People, guys take a look and already teh girl is rejected. You do not know if she is clingy or anything else about her you see she is fat and a generalization is automatically made. it is generally a negative generalization and some people think the rules of courtesy do not apply once you weigh more than a certain number of pounds. With this going on in every aspect of society it is a wonder any girl that weighs more than 20 pounds has any self esteem at all.

Okay, I am what you termed "weighty", as for low self-esteem, all my friends and family tell me that I am "full of myself" so I know that is not an issue with me. Yeah....I love myself!! I'm not jealous or clingy...as a matter of fact I LOVE having my own space and I do have a tendency to get upset if too much of it is demanded by someone I'm seeing. But you got me on rude, but I like to call it sarcasm! Hey, it was a country western song when the man sang, "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad"

Im fat and the reason why we have low self esteem is because one the media presures america to be perfect and two because has anyone noticed how we are treated? I have had people make some pretty rotten comments to me about my looks and weight. Most guys would never give me a chance to find out if I was a cool girl. I would really like to see the guy that can look at a girl for who she truly is and not for what her pants size is. I know there are some truely amazing girls out there that guys just pass by because they arent skinny enough or pretty enough or they dont dress a certain way. I know girls who have cried plenty of tears because some jerk played with her heart just to look cool in front of his friends. And not to be rude because i would hate to be stereotypical but now do you see why we have low self esteem... we dont choose it for ourselves... everyone else chooses it for us!

I think society is at fault for many women to have low self-esteem, not just heavier ones. With all the celebrities nowadays looking little more than skin and bones and yet they are the definition of sexy, it's hard for a normal woman, let alone an overweight one to feel sexy sometimes when men are drooling over anatomically impossible women.

Being a lady..I have been both over weight and a toothpick..And my best friends were models.. I do admit I get jealouse, only because I sent him well over1,000 and a women kepted calling here yelling he was hers.!! low self asteem..Yes when those in meda walk all over you saying you cant do and you get threats. But now..I just get even, and it beats a super model girlfriend who lays every guy she can and lies. If thats what males want rather then loyality ....looool (ps im not over weight) (And I never changed)
Now my question to you my friend would be...when males get older..that spare tire..hair recedes...Will that change you and youre self asteem??? If you dare gained weight will you be the same?? Quit judging ppl, not all are the same

It could be that sometimes the cause and effect go hand in hand. The ones you know may be overweight for the same reason they have low self-esteem and are clingy and jealous. I can't relate to rude, sorry.

I disagree. Low self-esteem is not a problem with all overweight women/men. Some overweight people are comfortable with their appearance and are quite confident.

I think it is very possible that this is the type of "overweight" women you have come into contact with, but you may find these characteristics in any woman, in my opinion. Believe me, I have seen this with all sizes of women.
