There is a reason for the baby not to be born yet. If your baby is born before it is time you could have serious complications with the health of your baby. Your babys' lungs might not be fully developed yet and if the baby comes now it might not be able to breathe on its own. I've had three children and I know it gets miserable toward the end but you will be rewarded in the end so hang in there till it's time for the baby. Your doctor can answer any questions you might have but you just have to be patient.

I know the feeling well!! But you are 37 weeks and it's best that your little bundle of joy stays there until it's ready!!
Been there 4 times and each time I was so anxious but then after getting home there were many nights that I wished I was pregnant again!! Just be patient at least try to be!!
Congratulations !

It gets so hard those last few weeks...at least let yourself go for another week, you want your baby to be full-term rather than have health problems. If your doctor says you are fine to go at any time, see if your doctor will strip your membranes (it hurts, but it put my sister and myself into labor within 24 hours.) Your doctor won't do anything to jeapordize your health, so ask her/him what you can do.

i'm goin onto my 37th week.i wouldn't do anythin to induce urself without talkin to ur doc.
but i will tell u that for my heartburn..the doc said i could take pepcid complete...it's a chewable tablet.u take one a day around dinner time.it works great for me with my heart burn and the acid reflux i get.
but as with everythin...ask ur doc first before u do/take anythin.

walk walk walk walk. Also walking makes your labor and delivery a little bit easier. But I suggest walking, and a few squats everyday.

DONT take castor oil!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did cuz I felt the same. it makes you spasm in labor but you make NO progress in dilation. so it's useless labor.
I drank it at 3pm...hospital at 7pm no progress...home...HARD labor all night every 3 min.....finally at hospital at 8am and they said I just started to dilate! so they kept me.
yes it will throw you into labor. horrible not progressing labor for hours!!!! but yes it does make you go into labor. but you wont be able to touch orange juice again. (that's the best to mix it into)

Please be patient, there is a lifetime to be with your baby, I remember being pretty anxious entering my last month, but really the baby is going to come when is ready.
