I would ask Joe for a casual friend go out on a date to see where it will end up if its worth going back out with him after that date then I say yeah why not.

Tell him that you enjoyed the last time with him and see if he picks up the hint by asking you out again, that way you know there is something mutual in the whole thing. It works for most any guy with other names as well, btw.

Why not? What is the worst that can happen? If he says "no" will it destroy your world? If he says "yes" will you follow through on the date? Sounds like a good idea to me. There are no laws that I know of that say a woman can't be the one to ask about a date.

Has he called you? Has he shown any interest in going out with you again? If so sure but if you saw him once and haven't heard from him since I'd call that a clue.

how long did you go out with him ? and is he involved at this time ?? do you realy think he would be willing to go out with you again ? why did you break up with him ? look at things from his point of veiw.... look deep into your heart and think about it all.... then if you think there is a chance go for it... never hurts to ask I guess..... or maybe it will !! only u know that......
