It is incorrectly used if you bring up anything in the 'PS' section of your letter that you did not already say in your letter.
It is used to remind someone of something, to restate important info.
For Example, you write a letter and in it somewhere lists all of the things that the person needs to bring when they go camping this Friday.
At the end of the letter, they may add a PS as a reminder to bring your flashlight.

u probably know what it means. post sriptum. translated into english: after the letter. still what are its implications? if u forget something and u remember it after closing the letter u can add a P.S. write ur message without closing the letter again. i think most people use P.S. to write something important that may not be seen in the letter. or something that means a lot for them. like a love note :)
