Are you ever going to stop asking? Two choices, have him lose weight or wear a CPAP machine... that's it. A third might be to have surgery, but I would never recommend that. Losing weight is the most effective.

Let's begin by putting your upper and lower molars together, very lightly.

Now open your mouth pressing the molars as wide a part as you can, without stretching. Repeat this ten to twenty times.

Make sure you only focus on your molars. All that matters is putting the molars together and then lowering your jaw... like hinges on a door, for about 20 times in a row.

After about 5 to 10 times you should feel your jaw muscles strengthening and the back of your mouth opening up.

This is the weak tissue that you are contracting, which you feel opening up your airways.

The muscles you now feel contracting in the back of your throat... are one of the main problem areas in your snoring. If you felt them opening up, then...

You've Just Proven One
of the 24 Powerful Stop-Snoring
Techniques in my Program!
The reason why this works is because it goes right to the source of the problem: A block in your airways.

You see, when your airways are blocked, the air has trouble getting into your lungs... and as it passes the narrow tissue, it starts "flapping" back and forth, like a flag in the wind, which causes the loud snoring sound.

But strengthening the jaw alone won't cure your snoring. You see, the worst problem of snoring is that it often has 2, or even 3 causes - and often that combination of "air-blocks" makes your snoring "incurable"! .

My program finally solves that by focusing on the root of each problem.

In just 3 minutes a day, it teaches you how to:

Strengthen the tongue to keep it from falling into your throat... a very common cause for snoring, and a very unhealthy and dangerous way of breathing in your sleep!

I have been married to a man for 49 years who snores every night. I recorded his snore. I had fun with the tape. I took it to staff meeting and played it for a laugh and everyone enjoyed hearing him snore. I had the recorder in my purse when I was going through the check out at K-Mart. Somehow I turned it on while fishing in my purse for my check book. Everyone at the check out had a great laugh when I explained what it was they were hearing. When the kids come around they tease their dad about his snoring. They throw socks and any thing else handy at him when they go camping with us trying to get some sleep while he snores on and on. It's best if you can to have fun with it . All kidding aside. I snore just like he does. Try a different pillow that sits the head and spine at the same level. That works best. I have went to the sleep center and they just about suffocated me with the mask. Try the pillow thing and don't sleep on your back. Good luck.

It could be dangerous. Get him checked out by a doctor for Sleep Apnea - a potentially deadly condition.

Other causes of snoring are being overweight, smoking and drinking too much alcohol.

Aside from stuffing cotton up his nose or suffocating him with a pillow, you could try Breath Right Strips or something given over the counter that he can spray into his throat that is supposed to help.
Elevate the pillow as much as you can. If he smokes, make him stop. If he is overweight, help him slim down. If you notice that this is getting worse and/or you catch him holding his breath, get him to a doctor for sleep apnea. It is really important!

The spouse needs to go to a sleep clinic to be evaluated and might in fact, have a disorder called sleep apenia. There are several successful for this disorder. Go sleep in another room until they agree to be treated.

Go to an EENT to find out the source of it. They would check for airway obstruction in the nasal and throat passageways. They would also refer for a sleep study to determine if there's sleep apnea. When they find out the source then they can tackle it. If your spouse is obese, losing weight might help.

Oh my god .... that is a great question, my husband snores and I can't make him stop, I bought earplugs and I have to have them to sleep... it takes a while to get used to, but works like a charm, cause you don't hear thunderstorms either, and if the fire alarm goes off I have to trust he loves me enough to waken me...

My husband snores when he sleeps on his back, so I roll him on his side. How does your spouse sleep?
