Why are "most" celebrities liberals?

ah.. a misconception. Look at the governer of California to see that. And another example... Angie Harmon of Law and Order fame is republican. Not all Hollywood actors and actresses are liberals... but I'd have to say those that are truly human centered are. I'd say that I am somewhat liberal... and I have nothing against celebrities that are. Nor do I have a thing against Celebrities that are right wing... but, arnie as Governor... c'mon! What is this nation comming too?

Because the media gives them the spotlight. How often do you see any right wing celebrities on "Entertainment Tonight"? It's all about their career.
It's easy to be a bandwagon oppositionist, especially in Hollywood. That's how you get on TV.

Celebs have so much money that they can be all social and liberal. Normal people can't afford to send all their money to starving children in Africa, or us their tax money to pay for illegal immigrants cause they can't even afford to pay the gas to drive to work!

Because they always have the platform to say what they believe and they always have people that not only listen to it because who they are but because it makes interesting tv.
