For South Carolina, there are stats by county through 2004 at:
http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/usac/ab-usac-sc.html
Wm. Robert Johnston is the owner if this site and not apparently affiliated with any expert group (just his own site). Since his
site indicates these were generated using data from http://scangis.dhec.sc.gov/scan/pregnancy you could cross-check his info by generating your own charts.

For nation-wide stats, the Centers for Disease Control is part of the U.S. Government. Their statistics are shown up to the year 2002 (it takes awhile for stats to be compiled and verified for accuracy and their most recent release of this info was released in November of 2005. It appears they release this every year in November, so you would have to wait until then for info from this source for 2003)
Charts by state are included at http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss5407a1.htm

Another source would be the Guttmacher Institute (which is a pro-choice site according to info in their "about" section), but they also don't have stats more recent than 2000. Here is a link to their chart for South Carolina: http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/sfaa/south_carolina.html

A right-to-life site lists some 'estimates' for more current years, but you will note that they use the same two sources I listed above (CDC and Guttmacher), plus information from the National Right to Life organization and Central Illinois Right to Life. They also indicate that more current abortion stats are hard to come by. http://www.abortiontv.com/Misc/AbortionStatistics.htm#United%20States
