Yes. That's gotta be the most horrible thing in the whole day. These people hold you all day in the boring court repeating all the movies and then release you without even using you.

yes and it was horrible. you have to have one hell of an excuse to get out of it. i had to sit in a room for like 2 hours then we went into the court room and got questioned for 2 hours then they started releasing us. i think i would have rather shot myself in the foot than set through that trial. It was a lady sueing the state b/c she didn't think they gave her enough money for her land. Big fun. it sucks horribly and i hope you get out of it.

I've been called once, served on three cases-One domestic violence, one domestic violence with child abuse and one civil suit. I was so bored I was doing the math for the lawyer in the civil case. The judge was laughing.

it was so much fun. how wonderful to participate in our society.
my husband actually got all 11 other jurors to change their vote after he talked with them and he was so pleased to stop an injustice from being carried out.
ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country.
if you don't do your civic duty, who will?

I did. I went. The guilty man confessed before we went in, so we sat there for a few hours.
