1)At the beginning night scene, what was the place where a hanging bridge hangs between 2 towers with crows flying and feeding on a man's eyeball,
and after that, coffins were thrown into sea and why is Jack Sparrow inside the coffin?

2)Who are those pirates who are looking for 'shining' things after Jack got back to the Black Pearl, and what is their purpose on the ship?

3How did the map of the Key drop into Jack's place out of nowhere? why? and from who?

Answers much appreciated :)

The place with the bridge hanging with the birds feeding on the man's eyeballs is a prison. It was not a rip off of the crow as stated in another post. In the first Pirates movie, you see a similar set up as a warning to Pirates to stay away from Port Royale, and a bird is feeding on the flesh of a dead pirate in a hanging cage.

The pirates looking for the shining things on the Pearl are the members of his new crew.

The map of the key is in the coffin Jack used to escape the prison. That is the best I can offer. I can't wait for #3 either.

you haven't been paying attention to the movie...
1. i think in the 1st movie...jack sparrow was caught (he's a pirate..duh?!)...and that place where people were throwing coffins...i think that's the prison where he was sent to...he might have played dead while in prison or he sneaks into his cellmate's coffin who has probably died...maybe you've never watched 'the man in the iron mask'....almost the same thing happened...

2.the 2 pirates you meant...is it the 2 that was also in the first movie...one has an 'eyeball popping out' problem...it that it? they are in the ship and with jack sparrow's 'team' all the time because they want the black pearl...something like that

3. the map of the key...i think it was given by...who's that woman in the forest who has lots of things in her place and had gave jack the sand jar?yeah..i think it was her...

Maybe he was stealing the map and in order to escape, hid inside of the coffin. They threw the coffin overboard and he used it to get away.
And I thought every pirate just looks for shining things... lol..

I only saw the 2nd movie once so far. Can't wait for #3!

1) back in that time period one way of execution was putting people in a cages and hanging them up for their eyes to be pecked out and for them to be eaten by crows. sick but true. to hide their evilness and to make the english look good they disposed of the bodies secretly in the water. one of these people who were killed must of had the map with them and so jack waited for them to die and took it. then escaped when they disposed of the bodies.
2) they were the crew of the black pearl. they wanted "shiney" things as in gold or jewels, tangible booty was all they thought of as precious. their purpose is the make the ship run and to defend it.
3) he got it from the place in question 1

I think you need to see it again.
#1. The premise was he was hiding out there and it was a way to make a grand entrance. I think it was some sort of prison.
#2. I am not sure what you mean by this question.
#3. A ghost sent it there.
