I watched this crazy *** movie? Can anybody explain it to me?

Donnie Darko sleepwalks out of his house one night, and sees a rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 12 seconds. He goes home the next morning to find that a jet engine has crashed through his bedroom. As he tries to figure out why he survived Frank continues to turn up in Donnie's mind, causing him to commit acts of vandalism.
I suggest watching it again this time with someone who can explain things as it goes because there's a lot going on. That's what I had to do and the person who explained it to me had to have it explained to him..it makes a lot more sense the more you watch it.

I just recently saw it - it does leave you wondering what really happened - was Donnie killed by the falling debris of the airplane? Did Donnie shoot and kill the guy who is the big bunny rabbit he's been seeing and talking to? I even thought at the end that I should watch it again to see if I missed any clues.

Well, there's this big bunny rabbit. Watch it again. I've seen it several times, and I wouldn't know what to tell you. A lot going on and you have to think about things as you watch it.

Thats one of my favorite movies of all time, Its kinda tough to explain, you just need to watch it again, and pay close attention, it took me a couple of times to finally get what was going on..

It is a what if movie where everything hinges on one moment in time when the plane crashes. you have to sit through the whole movie to realize all that could have gone wrong.

If you have the dvd with special features you can watch it with a running commentary. It's definitely a film you need to watch more than once. HTH.
