Who says we hear only one sound? Take a little training in music. You will know your two ears hear two different noises..

Men definitely have two ears but they hear what they want to hear. I'm not being mean or judgemental...it's just how their brains work. But there are some that hear...and they don't hear loud and clear but they try their best to hear...it's cause they love you and don't want to lose you. That's what I meant from the beginning....they hear what they want to hear.

you hear thru both ears but if your realize the same message is sent to your brain on same path and notice it's intense nature thru both ears. cover 1 ear and you will notice a difference in the loudness of sound you hear.

I am sorry but this is not a philosophy question. It does not relate to the study of knowledge or the love of wisdom. And nor does it relate to ethics, morality, epistemology, ontology, philosophy of mind, existentialism. metaphysics or any other topic I can think of. Perhaps you might categorise this elsewehere.

Most of the men around me have two visible ears, but they seem to all be just for show.

To triangulate and determine the origin of the sound.
Is this a trick question?

because there is only one sound that you are listening to.
However if you plug one ear, it may be slightly different.
But again one sound.
Its like voices many voice singing .you dont hear the seperate sounds you hear te combined sound.
