Well, Milan actually needs a striker but I think there is no one good enough 'on-sale' (excuse me for the term). I would prefer a striker like Eto'o, Messi or Rooney. They're young and talented and they can score a discrete amount of goals but they're unavailable too.

I would go and get one of those disgruntled Chelski defenders who wants to leave so much because Milan's back line is aging (not to mention Maldini and Stam are gone and the replacements seem to be...Kaladze and Jankulovski...) Then, I would go out and I would buy Frank Ribery, because a midfield with Kaka and Ribery commanded by Pirlo with Gattuso beating the heck out of people would be lethal. Milan has enough depth at striker to continue scoring, Gilardino and Inzaghi are good.

i'd go after cristiano ronaldo first and try to get a long term deal done because he seems the most likely very young star to be moved right now, ronaldo, see who chelsea might give up for adriano (essien, drogba?), try for lampard or gerrard maybe. kind of depends on whether or not i HAD to give up adriano or not, and how much $ i had to spend otherwise
