El Chango, what would I do? I don't believe in the death penalty and I base that on the "Thou Shall Not Kill". I would leave the person in jail for the rest of his/her life. Let them think about what they did every single day.
Look at the Enron people who are mad because Ken Lay died. They said he got off easy. (Funny, it's Texas so you would think they would have liked to see him die).
Look at McVey, he waived appeals so they would kill him faster so he wouldn't have to stay in jail.

Scruffycat--doesn't that make you a hypocrit?

And yes, I realize I am a hypocrit because I would steal food if I had absolutely no other way to find food for my family.

No, not as it is in this century. I would support a baning/exporttation penalty, though.

Yes, ma'am. The death penalty is an honorable thing and very justifiable and needed.
We can't have these wicked people living off the system while they rot in prison. What a complete waste. They don't even have a chance.
And it's been said that for one who commits murder the only way he can possibly obtain forgiveness is through the giving of his own life.

Let them rot in jail forever for children's crimes and bad rapes on anyone male or female. Please don't think I am saying a date rape isn't bad,I am just trying to distinguish between the two.The death penalty is tricky,on one hand I think an eye for an eye if it were on of mine so that is hard to answer in a few words. The only thing I have against the death penalty is that they seem to be mainly black and poor.No solicitor or a crap one and your sunk,do not pass go.And I can only imagine how many guys mainly have been innocent and gone to their deaths.I feel sick when I think of it.America says it is not a racist country, well I think you are the way you treat your fellow Americans whether they come from African decent or Indian decent they are the same as every one of you American people.cheers.

i didnt answer ur first q but i'm not for the death penalty...only b/c killing the person who killed someone i love (just as an example) wouldnt bring them back...though i would want that person dead which is a natural feeling. I'd say torture them (in a way that's worse) so in reality what would u do?? Leave them in jail i guess...
even if they were dead, it wouldnt really make me feel better, at least that's me...

I did not answer the other question, but I am for the death penalty. It is the only way to protect society from some criminals.

Many should have it for their crimes but no, I do not believe in the death penalty. That's just an easy way out.

I answered No, because it's wrong to steal....more the Do unto others rule....
Yes, I am for the death penalty. For that, I use this maxim: Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

I'm for speeding up the prossess of putting them to death. I think all child molesters and murderers should die. To answer the question of stealing....no, I do not steal, even if I could get away with it.
