Hi! I am sorry about your friend. I lost a a dear neighbor who was like a Dad to me to cancer about 3 years ago. Tell her what she means to you and tell her how much you appreciate her friendship. Don't get upset if she cries, or if you cry, it is part of the human experience. You will remember her forever, and she will be with you ever day of your life for the rest of your life. If you can't think of what to say, or how to say it, write it down in a letter and read it to her. Just try to tell her what is in your heart. Take the cues from her and tell her how you feel about her. But go as soon as possible because she may not last as long as they think. Try to take care if yourself.

Oh love. Please visit, even if you cannot speak or break down and weep after. Please attend what ceremony may follow. DO NOT as I did ask WHY was I not there when my darling passed away. In my case I suffered from severe depression.
Your love will show and bring some comfort to your friend
I am speaking from a recent event and would not have you have to spend any time in regret. Grief, yes for it touches us all and will pass with time
May you find strength and support.
Rose.

Sorry to hear about your friends terminal illness. I would reccommend to go see her. If she is in her final days she may not have the strength to talk but knowing you are there will mean alot to her. You can tell her what she meant to you. Hold her hand and comfort her. I will be praying for you both.

the best thing you can do is be there for her and with her. maybe write a letter of all the things you love about her and read it to her. this is a chance for you to find out how much your friendship means to you and celebrate it while you can.
