I love retellings of Beauty and the Beast. Does anyone know any? Any genre is fine new or old. I know some myself like Mckinley's Beauty and Rose Daughter, but too many to list here. I just want more. Thanks.

Hi!

Tanith Lee wrote an amazing book called "Red As Blood" that retold all the fairy tales... but my favorite story in that book is her retelling of 'Beauty and the Beast'... hence why I am telling you about it. :) The 'Snow White' retelling is also very good.

Try to find the book "Red As Blood" by Tanith Lee. It is out of print, but you might be able to find it at the library or online at a used book store.

I have had like five copies of this book. I would get a copy, let a friend borrow it, and they loved it so much, they would never return it.

I am trying to remember the other book that kind of has a 'Beauty and the Beast' story in it. It was either "A Dance with the Devil" Anthology (Deborah Martin/Anne Logan/) or "After Twilight" Anthology (Christine Freehan/Amanda Ashley). Or maybe it was another book... If another title comes to mind, I'll re-post..

Good Reading... T.
